Very Clean IFR Airplane with Original Logs and No Hail Damage

I have over $75k invested in this airplane.  The airplane went through a Major Restoration from March 2005 - September 2007.  The restoration was done meticulously by myself, an A&P mechanic, along with alot of free labor from family and friends.  I and others consider me a perfectionist..this is how one can spend $50k on parts and upgrades (less than 10% of this was outside labor costs), on a 1963 aircraft.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with this aircraft that I am aware of and and mechanically this aircraft is in Excellent Condition!

All that being said, the last thing this aircraft needs to look like a new one is a new paint job...perfect opportunity for you to pick your paint scheme and colors!

Roughly $25k was spent on the Engine Overhaul.  This overhaul was FWF and included New Continental Equalized Cylinders and Pistons, Continental Camshaft and Lifter Kit, Continental Overhaul Gasket, Hardware and Thru Bolt Kits.  New Rapco Vacuum Pump, Wiring Harness, Overhauled: Carb, Oil Cooler, Magnetos, Starter, Alternator.  The engine mount was completely re-built and reinforced by Kosloa & Associates.

The Max Gross Weight is 2800lbs, and the current useful load is 1064.55lbs.  According to the FAA Type Certificate Data Sheet 3A13 for 182 Models E, F, & G, through Special Ferry Flight Authorization these models can increase Max Gross Weight up to 130%..that is an additional 840lbs!!!  This makes these model 182's ideal for Missons/Relief work or for 4 big chubbers to jump in and fly to an all you can eat pancake breakfast!

The following repairs have been done..all professional work
* Firewall Replaced in 1965
* Left Wing Outboard Leading Edge Skin Replaced in 1998 (Cessna parts used)
* Lower Flap Skins Replaced in 2006 due to cracks (Cessna parts used)

In my perfectionist opinion the aircraft should be stripped and painted.  The aircraft is mostly covered in recent JetGlo white paint, but there are parts still covered in only green primer.  The aircraft was completely stripped and new Sherman Williams Primer and JetGlo paint was applied, however due to dusty/poor painting conditions, the paint has some dust particles under the paint..to alot of folks they are almost unseen especially at 20ft, but to a perfectionist they are noticable.  There are a few minor dings/hanger rash/repairs that should be expected for an aircraft  45+ years old.  There is No Hail Damage.
